The career behind the work

The numbers were hers to hit. The people were hers to keep.

Faye spent 18 years in demanding technical industry (instrumentation, flow measurement and industrial products), most of it at a Fortune 500 industrial technology corporation. She worked as a product manager and a marketing director, led product launches and go-to-market strategy for industrial B2B businesses, and guided teams through acquisitions and organizational change.

Along the way she built a reputation for keeping people. Her 17-person team sustained 95%+ engagement for three consecutive years in an environment where burnout was the norm. Engagement is burnout's opposite pole, and that record is the receipt for the method Brightwork now teaches.

She holds an MBA from Colorado State University. Workshop design and facilitation have been a career-long craft, not a slide deck. In 2026 she founded Brightwork Leadership to help other companies fix the systems that burn out their best people.

How she works

Burnout is a system problem, not a willpower problem.

Brightwork doesn't teach people to be tougher. It fixes the way their work is designed, and trains their leaders to keep it fixed.

Diagnosis before prescription

Training is an answer, and answers should follow findings. Every engagement starts with what is actually driving the load: how the work is designed, how clear the priorities are, whether people ever really get to recover, and whether managers are spotting the early signs.

Organizational, never clinical

Brightwork diagnoses how work is designed. It never screens, assesses or reports on individuals, and findings are never an input to anyone's performance review. That is put in writing.

Honest fit, in both directions

Sometimes the right recommendation is "run these three changes yourselves and call us if it doesn't move." Brightwork is a young practice built on a long operating career, and early clients are told that plainly.

Why "Brightwork"?

On a ship, the brightwork is the metal that stays bright because someone deliberately maintains it, not because it was polished once, brilliantly, a year ago. People are no different, and hoping they stay bright is not a maintenance plan.
